“Since we began our search for the finest of spirits – and only the finest – we have so far only found two products we have deemed worthy of the name The Last Drop. In 2008 we released The Last Drop 1960 Blended Scotch Whisky and, in 2010, we launched our second offering, a sixty year old Finest Aged Cognac. Find out more about both these magnificent spirits here. As and when we find further marvellous spirits, we will add them to our collection.
Not just a collectors’ piece…
When you buy The Last Drop, you have two choices. You can keep it, sure that inside its wax-sealed bottle the ancient spirit will remain perfect forever, to be a treasure for even your great-grandchildren. Or you can break the wax, draw the cork and enjoy it yourself. An agonising decision. But one we have spared you. For with every full bottle we send a 50ml miniature, also filled by hand and sealed with wax. This is a generous taste for you and a friend. Our picture shows the exact amount. We want you to have pleasure as well as pride in our noble spirits.” – The Last Drop Distillers
Only 1,347 bottles made. *We have 1 of 3 bottles in Georgia*
“The exceptional Last Drop whisky is finally on the market. Only 1,347 bottles were made, using 70 malt whiskies and 12 grain whiskies. All were distilled before 1960 and most are from distilleries that no longer exist. After a 12-year maturation process, this hand-bottled deep-bronze spirit displays hints of chocolate, figs, and vanilla with a spice finish. Last Drop Distillers founders James Espey, Tom Jago, and Peter Fleck suggest that Last Drop be served neat or over ice.” – LA Confidential

The Last Drop 1950 Cognac
Only 487 bottles made. *We have the ONLY bottle in Georgia*
“Old – and fresh. These words, so apparently incompatible, might summarise just what we seek in our offerings – and after much journeying – find. They perfectly describe this magical Cognac. Distilled in 1950 in one of the last of the old-fashioned alembics, and having rested for all its sixty years in French oak casks at the distillery, it has aged but not faded, remaining still amazingly youthful even in extreme old age. The nose is refined, balanced, full of woodland scents and dried fruit. The palate is smooth and harmonious, but retains the ‘fire’ of the finest cognacs. Much of the alcohol has vanished with time; it measures only 41.8%. Now, trapped in the glass, it will remain perfect forever, so that your children – or even their children – can share this sublime experience. This Last Drop yielded only 487 bottles.” – Tom Jago, The Last Drop
