Brett Tyranny

Brett Tyranny is a brett rendition of our flagship red IPA aged with our house strain of brett. The addition of a pound per gallon of tart Montmorency cherries transforms our classic hoppy red into an even more complex IPA.

Cherry Go Lightly

Cherry Go Lightly is the first beer to fill our foeder and was inspired by the friends who helped us source this barrel monstrosity. As the name does not imply, we used a total of 2000 pounds of Montmorency cherries and multiple oak vessels to mature this Old World inspired ale. Friends inspire us, support us, and share in our love for this craft. This beer is for them.

Ballast Point Peppermint Victory at Sea – (from the label) This Peppermint Victory at Sea is a festive take on our popular Imperial Porter. We took our trademark robust porter brewed with Caffe Calabria coffee and vanilla and added a dose of refreshing peppermint. The trio of flavors play perfectly on your palate – the brew’s sweet roastiness balances nicely with a cool, minty finish. You might even call it a breath of fresh beer.

Fannin Hivekicker Wheat Wine – (from their website) The outstanding feature of this unusual wheat wine is sourwood honey, found only in our backyard, southern Appalachia. Because of its ingredients, this is about as local beer as we could make, and with a 9.3% ABV, it should be sipped, not chugged!

For your convenince descriptions are available below, directly borrowed from their respective websites, where direct linking (as I am fond of) was… inconvenient. I have slightly modified formatting and added in titles where context was broken by my borrowing.

Fannin Hiawasee Golden Ale – A great year round craft beer, brewed with 7 different malts, including a generous amount of German wheat.  This beer uses Kölsch yeast for a clean finish, and is currently available in draft and bottles – it’s widely distributed thorughout Georgia.

Fannin Toccoa Brown Ale – An American Brown Ale using 6 different grains and rolled oats, this beer has a distinctive malt-forward, slightly sweet taste.  It’s lightly hopped, using Liberty and Williammette for aroma.  Toccoa Brown has a clean finish with hints of coffee.

Availability: November 1 – February 15

Available in 6pak-12oz Cans, 50L kegs, and 1/6bbl kegs.

Aviator’s interpretation of a winter seasonal beer.  This beer will curl your toes and put goosebumps on your arms.  A fine collection of traditional winter spices make this a great addition to the holiday season…it will make all humbugs cheery.  The beer is dark in color…a bit darker than brown ale.  There is a combination of Perle and Willamette hops to provide a contrasting intensity with the fall spices.
