Punch Bowls: A New Years Must!!!

Leigha’s Pomegranate Prosecco Punch

Serves 20

1 qt Chilled Pomegranate Juice

1/4 cup Superfine Cane Sugar

Juice of 4 Limes

1 cup Vodka

(Russian Treasure $9.99, Svedka $12.99, or Hangar One $29.99/all .750ml)

2 bottles Espilon Prosecco ($14.99/.750ml)

3-4 Clementines, thinly sliced

2 Limes, thinly sliced

Pomegranate Arils (seeds)

Stir Vodka, Juice & Sugar until it dissolves. Add Ice in Punch Bowl and pour Prosecco over it…  Garnish punch with Clementine & Lime Wheels & Pomegranate Arils.

Midnight in Paris – Champagne over Cognac Countdown Punch

2 cups Planat XO Cognac ($24.99/.750ml)

1 – 1.5 cups Chambord ($20.99/.375ml)

1/2 cup Lemon Juice

2 Bottles Duval Leroy Champagne ($29.74 on this weeks crazy deal!!)

Lemon twists

Frozen Raspberries (optional)

Mix together all ingredients except Champagne. Add ice to punch bowl (or pitcher) and add Champagne just before serving. Garnish Punch with Lemon Twists & Frozen Raspberries. Enjoy!

*This is my take on a classic “Paris is Burning” cocktail, You could add a traditional touch and use a lighter on the citrus peels for a second to release the oils before adding them to the punch.
